The Outdoors

Connect with Nature

There is something beautiful and remarkable about being in nature and there’s always something interesting to discover. Humans and nature are intrinsically connected, a symbiotic relationship. Flora, fauna, air, water, herbs, plant medicines and so much more are the vitalities that keep us alive. Just by walking amongst nature, there are many benefits to humans for physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health. Immerse yourself in nature to relax your mind, soothe your soul, energise your body and discover the real you. Ground yourself in the beauty of nature.

Forest Bathing & Trees

Dendrophile = a lover of trees

I am a dendrophile, I love trees and find a real sense of calmness when I’m in the woods, of which there are plenty in Derbyshire. Trees give off phytoncides, ‘essential oils’ that protect the tree and are equally beneficial to humans. Being amongst trees can help to reduce stress, anxiety and depression, positive hormones are released into the body giving a boost to the immune system.  Breathe your biome, let your body breathe in the natural wonders of the world.

Into the woods to open your mind and soothe your soul 😊
